Named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 List in 2024!
Our non-profit provides high-touch college and law school admissions advising to students of all backgrounds, races, and income levels from former admissions deans, directors, and professional writers. We specialize in working with first-generation and marginalized students who are less likely to enroll in higher education and more likely to take on excessive debt if they do. Through generous donations, we provide our services for free or at cost to low-income students applying to college and law school. We also provide continued support to our students in school to make sure they graduate and gain employment.
We are creating a new generation of Barrier Breakers®!
Barrier Breakers®, Inc. is dedicated to increasing access to and success in higher education for marginalized students.
Founded by Sydney Montgomery, a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School, our 501(c)3 non-profit provides financial assistance, educational resources, and consulting for higher education applicants. As a faith-based organization, we believe in holistically serving students’ emotional and mental health needs alongside their academic needs to help them succeed.

Your support takes us one step closer to equity in higher education.
