Making Law School Affordable: Scholarships for August 2023

Most law school applicants are worried about how they will finance their Juris Doctor. This concern is completely valid, as law school can be very expensive. However, one way you can reduce the cost of law school is through scholarships. Many students are offered merit-based or, less likely, need-based scholarships from law schools they apply to; however, you should also be sure apply to external scholarships for your best chance at paying less for law school.

External scholarships are typically one-time financial awards given by social organizations, law firms, or businesses. If you’re looking in August 2023, there are several external scholarship deadlines coming up soon. This is a great opportunity to receive funding for your law school journey!
