Barrier Breakers®, Inc. Adopts Law School Admissions Consulting Brand
Princeton, N.J. (February 1, 2023) — Barrier Breakers®, Inc. announced on Wednesday that they are adopting S. Montgomery Admissions Consulting, a full-service consulting firm that helps students with their law school applications, as a brand under their non-profit.
Since its founding in 2018, S. Montgomery Admissions Consulting has specialized in supporting minority and first-generation law school applicants. As a part of Barrier Breakers®, the company will expand its mission with new pricing models and opportunities for students.
“As a Black woman and first-generation lawyer, I know first-hand how hard it can be to break into the legal space,” said Sydney Montgomery, Esq., Founder and Executive Director of Barrier Breakers®, Inc. and Founder of S. Montgomery Admissions Consulting. “I am so excited about the new opportunities that will be available for marginalized applicants that are interested in the legal field thanks to this merge.”
Montgomery mentioned that there is a significant way to go to create an equitable landscape in the legal field, but she hopes this is one step in the right direction.
With the announcement, S. Montgomery Admissions Consulting also revealed their new sliding scale pricing model, which offers discounts of up to 80% for “applicants who reflect [their] mission,” according to their website.
